Her lessons are well prepared and directed according to the skill level of the student, but she is willing and able to adapt during lessons to the immediate needs of the student. Her talents in teaching are most apparent in group classes where a number of students are at different skill levels. She is able to keep each student interested, occupied and learning whilst creating an exciting collective drumming experience.

I have worked with Marianthe for over five years. During this time she has provided engaging and fun drumming, percussion and singing sessions as part of the school's music program. Marianthe has also worked with the school's drumming group where she has led the group and helped bring out the best in all students. What she has helped the students to accomplish has been wonderful, not only musically but in terms of self esteem and personal growth. She quickly established a positive and warm relationship with the students. Marianthe has also mentored myself (a complete musical novice) and a former student to be in a position to be able to lead the group. More recently Marianthe has worked with the staff at my school to lead a professional development session which focused on inclusive team building in a relaxed, fun and supportive environment.
